International industrial exhibition in the Republic of Iraq,
“Bagdad 2012”.
A delegation of Veya Investments Limited, consisting of 7 people, has participated in the International Industrial Exhibition which was being held in the city of Baghdad (Iraq) from 01 to 10 November 2012. Our company was represented on a separate stand, where we advertised our partners’ products in the field of equipment supply and projects implementation for oil and gas, as well as energy sectors.
Taking this opportunity, to thank our partners for giving us the opportunity to represent their company in this exhibition, as well as the presentation materials, which have been submitted to us for a given event.
The stand of our company has attracted considerable interest among the experts of oil and gas sector of Iraq. Minister of Trade of Iraq, Mr. Khairallah Hassan Babaker, visited our stand and he expressed interest in buying a number of the equipment made available by our partners. Also, the executive management team of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Iraq visited our stand and we negotiated on issues regarding participation of our company in equipment supply and projects implementation for the infrastructure facilities of the Ministry. During the exhibition we conducted negotiations with executive management and technical staff of several state-owned and private companies of Iraq, who expressed a wish to obtain the equipment.
Also, during the exhibition we gave all the informational materials and manufactured products of your company to all interested individuals and companies. Photos and videos provided by our partners were shown on plasma screens installed on our stand.
At the end of exhibition, considering Iraq market prospects and possibility of long-term cooperation with state-owned and private companies in the market of oil and gas, as well as power equipment, we have decided to extend the representative office of Veya Investments Limited in Iraq, Baghdad city. At present time the representative office is staffed with personnel.
We hope for a successful, long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in project implementation and supply of equipment of our partners in the region and other regions, where our company operates.
